Our pets tune in to our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and energy every day. They know what we’re thinking, feeling, and even avoiding! (On a side note, this is why it’s so easy to learn animal communication – because animals are already tapping in to us!
So, with all this time at home, I thought it would be cool to take advantage of our pet’s cool skill – and have some fun!
Here are a couple ways to play the game:
1: Get yourself into a room with just you and your pet (dog, cat, horse, bunny…)
2: While sitting with your animal, start thinking about something that gets you really, really excited. Happy. Joyous.
3: As you start to feel happy/excited (and make sure you really feel it), don’t “do” anything different. Just FEEL this emotion as big as you can and notice any reaction in your pet (Does she come closer to you? Want to play? Get excited? Turn over and go to sleep?)

2. Start calming yourself. Deep breathing or any type of energy management. Feel your emotions calm down – really bring yourself into a clear, stable, energetically peaceful zone.
3: As you start to feel calm/peaceful (and make sure you really feel it – versus just saying you feel it), notice any reaction in your pet (Does she come closer to you? Want to play? Get excited? Turn over and go to sleep?)
Now, obviously, with so much time at home many of us have been unknowingly playing this game through the anxiety/worry versions. Let’s switch it over and do the positive versions now! Share your findings here!
